 Our History

In Your Shoes, a giving circle was founded on the premise that you do not have to look beyond your backyard to help someone in need. The founders, Terry Gavin and Debi Ledoux were actively involved with Westborough's Relay For Life for several years. In March of 2008 they decided to start their own initiative to help others. They focused their efforts on developing a nonprofit organization that would offer emergency assistance to ease financial burdens for Westborough residents in need.

Today, In Your Shoes brings together like-minded individuals who are interested in building a stronger community of giving. Members give their time and talents to help at community dinners, conduct fundraising events to benefit town organizations, make baskets for veterans, and vote on grants for residents in need of emergency funds.
