In Your Shoes, a giving circle, stays involved with the Westborough community in various ways. In addition to awarding grants to residents in need, IYS participates in community events and fundraising.

Free Stone Soup supper for Westboro residents during the break of town meeting (three years)

· 4th of July block party

· 

Knights of Columbus Thanksgiving Dinner: setup and donation

· 

Westborough Senior Center community dinners

· 

Veterans baskets for Flag Day and Veterans Day: donated to approx. 12 retired veterans in town

· 

Spring Rotary Festival (Rotary Club)

· 

Polar Plunge: 2009-2011 raised funds for Westborough Food Pantry, 

Westborough Youth & Family Services and 

Westborough Emergency Services (police and fire)

Sponsorships: 2012 Lustgarten Foundation Vegas Night and Fun Run (ALS)

·

Casino Night: 2013-2014 raised funds for local town services; 2014 money raised for Veteran Services in Westborough

Scholarship: 2010-Present awarded $500 to a Westborough Senior (high school) includes WHS, Assabet Vocational and St. John’s

· 

Various Food Pantry Drives

Light up the Night: October 2014 raised funds for Senior Outreach Program

· 

Back to School Clothing Drive: September 2015 held a back to school clothing drive for those in children and their families in need 

· 

Bunco Night: February 2016 and 2018 raised money for our general fund. 

· 

Participated in the 300th Westboro Parade – September 2017

·

Eric Dittelman Fundraiser: May 2018 raised money for Annie’s Wishes and our general fund

·

Various grants given out in the form of gift and gas cards, payment towards rent, car insurance, heat and electricity payments and clothes

· 

Community Clothes Closet: October 2019- October 2021 held above the Westborough Food Pantry

·

Polar Plunge: December 2019 raising funds with the support of Westboro Connects

The Little Free Pantry, providing non-perishable foods, household items, and personal hygiene supplies.  All are available to anyone in need. Located at St. Stephen's Church parking lot, 3 John St. Westborough
